This teeny insect is about the size of a common mosquito. Three were sent to me, from Argentina, in a small glass bottle. This soft bodied insect was extremely difficult to draw, as it floated and unfortunately moved around in the ethyl alcohol preservative. The drawing was the result of a collaboration between entomologists in three countries: Argentina, Germany, and the USA.
