I spent an evening at the Cal Academy aquarium drawing these sharks. In art school I studied "gesture drawing". Artists learn to sketch the model who takes very quick, seconds long poses. This did not prepare me to draw the constantly moving sharks. Frankly, I felt sea sick! A wonderful challenge.
