Poppies are one of my favorite flowers. They are complex, for being "just" flowers. They are exquisite, dangerously poisonous, and valuable to medicine. Some are illegal and have caused political upheaval and wars. I placed a single dried petal on a light box and drew it. The drawing is large and constructed of many layers of Prisma colored pencils.
