This piece was done for a bride, who wished she was a ladybug and the groom whose nickname was "Toad". His parents' house and vineyard are in the background. The plants aren't from California but inspired by some beautiful botanical drawings that I had seen. All the ink work was done by hand with pen and ink. The colors were added in Photoshop.
